Mona Lehtinen is the Chief Information Specialist of the Finto team at the National Library of Finland. Finto is a national vocabulary and thesaurus service; its work centers on the General Finnish Ontology (YSO), the coordination of related domain ontologies, and the development of the Finto.fi ontology portal with its background tool Skosmos.

She also works closely with the National Library’s automatic cataloguing team, which contributes to the advancement of AI-assisted subject indexing and content description with tools such as Annif and BIBRA.
